EARLCON™

EARLCON™, Energy at Remote Locations Container, is a containerized, configurable energy solution for the expeditionary environment. Government tests validated EARLCON’s ability to reduce generator fuel consumption by 80% or more. Rugged and rapidly deployable, EARLCON™ employs a combination of solar, wind and energy storage, and integrates with the currently fielded inventory of Tactical Quiet Generators (TQG), Advanced Mobile Medium Power Sources (AMMPS), and commercial generators. Equipped with the Earl Energy Management System (EEMS™), a proprietary smart power distribution system, EARLCON™ has the ability to dynamically manage and prioritize loads ensuring critical equipment, such as communications, surveillance, and other devices, receive continuous power where grid supplied power does not exist.   Based on the successful results of ExFOB IV, the U.S. Marine Corps awarded Earl Energy a Sole Source Acquisition Award for the EARLCON™. In May 2011, Earl Energy delivered 18 kW EARLCONs for deployment to Afghanistan.
